Tilted Wisdom: a name that evokes images of deranged philosophers in my head; an apt name for this site. Not that being deranged is bad, by any means.

Upon entry to the site, I was greeted by a mock Control Panel window. An interesting idea, with a lot of potential. Delving further, into the weblog area, I was slightly disappointed to see this theme disappear. However, the graphics and images in the weblog area were clever and unique, and gave the Tilted Wisdom name some life.

The weblog entries were mostly of a personal, introspective nature, which can get dull to the average outsider. Still, my interest was well enough piqued to read to the bottom and learn a little about what makes the author tick. I enjoyed the author’s descriptive style of writing, as it drew pictures in my head.

The rest of the site was interesting. A page dedicated to fictional writings of the Tilted Wisdom author, and a
unique bio rounded out the site’s offerings.

Overall, this site serves up some good food for thought. Certainly worth a look.

okay, so i’m the third person to review this site, but i wanted to add my two cents regardless. the design is pretty minimal, but nonetheless very cool. i dig that picture of the little girl. not in that kind of way, though. anyway, it’s a really good site. the writer provides some excellent insights and actually entertained me. and it is unfortunately true that people’s attention spans last about as long as a virgin’s first sexual experience, but the minimal design of this site and the catchy writing style had me. it looks good, it’s funny, you should definitley check it out.pink pantster

I wans’t really sure which category this fell under so I put it under personal (?) Also I wasn’t 100% sure fo its purpose until I read the “About” section.

The layout was particularly nice and uncluttered, everything had its place, this was particularly good to see as more and more blogs are becoming increasingly cluttered which draws attention aways from the blog itself.

I found some of the entries interesting and some amusing, such as the entry entitled “finally”.

I felt it appealed to all age groups, its content wasn’t up to much but the blog kept me amused.

Overall a decent site, with a very nice layout and blog.eWyle

Who ever said web sites have to be in English? I looked at this site and despite the fact that I don’t speak Dutch, I was pretty impressed by the layout. It’s simple yet elegant, and easy to navigate even if you don’t speak the language. You can probably guess what the links on the left lead to. It’s a sad thing that I can’t review the site based on content because of certain language barriers.

All in all, this site deserves the 4.5 I gave it. Idealy a site should be in English since you are submitting to a non-dutch speaking web site. The layout has definatly made up for it.BoogBlog

The best thing that Xombie had

going for it was the satirical

overtones with which it was made.

The graphics were intentionally

childlike, looking as if they had been

scribbled in Windows Paint. It

seemed as if the author recognized

the fact that he sucked at making

graphics, and took it to the extreme

by making extra-sucky graphics. But

it worked, and it was original at the

very least.

The weblog was not as interesting

as one might have hoped, though

there were some humorous remarks

here and there. “Inspiration hit me in

the form of some loose drywall…”

sticks out in my memory.

I had to scroll way to the bottom of

the main page to find the navigation

links for the rest of the site. I don’t

know if it was me or geocities, but I

had to try several times to load the

other pages. The best offering I

could find was a short story under

the “Art” section, which was a

heartfelt tale about making dinner for

a girl.

I wasn’t very interested in the author’s

favorite band list or seeing more than

two of his pictures, and I was

confused by the “Extra” page, which

contained a myriad of subjects that

might be best broken up into

separate pages.Xombie
