Re-elect Gore in 2004 has been a favorite slogan of mine over the past year and a half, so you can imagine why I found Dubya’s Dayly Diary so hilarious.
Developed by humor columnist Madeleine Begun Kane, this weblog is not your average weblog. Why? Because it’s the weblog of President George W. Bush.
This site design is exactly what it needs to be – functional. Once I began reading, the site’s design was the last thing on my mind.
For me, when I read this, I pictured Will Ferrel in the role of Dubya, just as he is on Saturday Night Live, and found myself laughing out loud at every entry.
Dubya’s Diary is just a small portion of the “madkane.com” website. The rest of the site is definitely worth checking out, as well.
The weblog is in it’s 57th week, and each entry is just as funny as the next. If you can handle a little political humor, or even dumb Dubya humor, then this is a MUST READ. Have kleenex nearby, though, because I had tears rolling down my cheeks when I was finished reading.Dubya’s Dayly Diary

I liked “Phives” the second I went to the site. The layout is easy to read, all the important links are on the top of the page, and the three colors the author uses compliment each other.
Jay, a college student from Pennsylvania uses his weblog to write about random events in his life, usually
with a funny, optimistic slant. Almost every entry from day one of the blog to the present is entertaining, and many entries are just plain hilarious. I had the feeling after reading the first few months’ posts that I knew the author. There is a good bio section as well.
My favorite part about the site was a section called ‘Tips’ where visitors can leave bits of wisdom on life in general. Example: “People will accept your ideas much more readily if you tell them that Benjamin Franklin said it first.” Also, if you click on the title of each entry, you can read that entry only, which is really handy if you want to link to a certain post. The archive section is unique and very easy to use, all in all the design of the site is one of the most user friendly I have ever seen.
I really enjoyed my time at Phives, and I’m sure you will too. The author has an uncanny knack for humor, and a superbly user friendly website. Unfortunatly for Petey and Ethan (who I even felt sad at their demise), the authors talents do not extend to raising fish. This site is well worth your time.

This weblog certainly isn’t what I would expect from a high school aged person, but it was a very pleasant surprise!
Basic everyday weblog entries are the norm here, but what rounds the entries out are poems inserted frequently throughout the posts. Some of the poetry comes from Alex’s favorite poets, while there were a few excerpts of some of Alex’s very nice work. Whether it’s poetry or everyday musings, Alex has an easy to read writing style.
The site lacks an “about” page, but makes up for it and then some with plenty of tidbits of information about Alex down the righthand side of the site.
Surprisingly, I found a link to my own personal weblog on Alex’s site that I didn’t know was there until visiting “Black Ink Darkness – Written Impressions” this morning.
This site is one that’s suitable for all ages, and it’s at least worth one visit. If you like Alex’s style, then you’ll definitely be back.Black Ink Darkness – Written Impressions

The thought provoking words at Geegaw.com are written in a style that doesn’t make the reader feel like an idiot should he/she not understand what’s being discussed. Instead, the way the author writes encourages the reader to find out more about the topic at hand.
The basic layout is very eye appealing, and the use of a font different the the every day norm gives the site a “classy” appearance.
I read the FAQ section of the site before really diving into reading the weblog, and it was a huge help. And it was also yet another entertaining portion of the website.
Geegaw is not a site for your below average reader. Why? It’s challenging to read, and it’s something that simply can’t be discarded as an every day casual read. Should you visit this site, be prepared to have the motors in your head turning. The site is worth it.Geegaw

Bright. Cheery. Friendly. Those are three words that easily describe this weblog.
Sandee writes about her personal life – the good and the bad – in her very appropriately titled blog, “I Will Survive”.
The author is a cancer survivor, and the majority of the weblog deals with that specific topic. To give an example of how Sandee keeps things as upbeat as possible, she ends each entry with something or someone that she is grateful for.
Since the induction of this weblog at it’s current location, Sandee keeps the reader updated about the daily happenings in her life, and has a crowd of return visitors that regularly comment on each entry.
Sure, unfortunate circumstances have waltzed into Sandee’s life, but just from her writing, she’s managed to find the strength to turn things into as positive of an experience as possible. And that makes reading this weblog uplifting to anyone.I Will Survive-Sandee
