The best way to describe this site is simple, and easy on the eyes. A mixture of blue and tan, with links to the left, and some on top, using black text on a white background for the log.
The author’s skills, when it comes to writing, are well above par. The content consists mostly of the author speaking of his job, video games, and his female whom he affectionately refers to as “Monkey”.
Again, the design is as good as simplicity gets. He takes the idea of keeping things simple, and runs wild with it. I look at this site and I’m not overwhelmed with flashing things or an overabundance of irrelevant links, just an excellent title bar and link bar, all of which match up perfectly.
Overall, if you’re looking for a site full of laughs and entertainment, this is probably not the place for you. But, if you’re looking for a well written log of a person’s daily events, then this is the one.
If I had to name 1 thing that would make this site excellent, it would be more writing. The author demonstrates some excellent writing skills, and from reading the archives of the DSW (one of the links) he’s got lots of opinions on things. He needs to share his movie/video game reviews more, and maybe go into his thoughts on things more, as opposed to just recapping his day.
