The layout was simple yet effective, but saying that I had to change my screen size to get its full effect, my main criticism of the design is that it doesn’t look good in anything but 800 x 600 also there is no requirements which would make it easier to see how the page is best viewed.
I spent a while reading and re-reading entries to try and get a better idea of where they were coming from, I found them interesting to read, however I found the first few I read were all abut “clearing homework” which I felt was slightly boring.
The entries are clearly meant to give you a detailed insight into his life, and don’t focus on linking people in each post.
A pretty average blog with what you’d expect from a 16-year-old boy.

What a distinctly original site! The emphasis on family happenings provides a welcomed break from all the angsty teenage melodrama that dominates many weblogs.
While some might equate a “family” theme with “boring”, there is a certain quaintness here that sucked me in and engaged me emotionally. I cared when I read that the boys’ (her children) pet hamster died.
The color scheme is girly but passable. I’m really not a fan of gray backgrounds – especially when the text on top of it is a lighter shade of gray. The left-hand vertical bar (where most of the text is) is too narrow to read comfortably. It makes the eyes jump down a line after every 3 or 4 words. Not good.
The photography section is a real treat. The author has a very skilled hand and a nice digital camera. It shows. The subjects generally fall within the “nature and domestic life” category.
The intended audience is for their family to keep tabs on the boys, but I suspect this site will appeal to many many more.

What the hell is that on the index page?
Other than THAT, anyone who names a section “for mom” can’t be all bad. Unless it links to a wishlist for Amazon.com. Quite clever, wish I’d thought of that myself, but my mother doesn’t know how to use her credit card on the internet.
On to the “review”:
A consistent weblog of nearly a year’s length, bolstered with regular entries, including a hilarious conversation with his parents about a cordless phone during August of 2001 and “Dream Gifts for Mother’s Day” sent me a visual headache.
Nice site design, clean and uncluttered, with easy navigation, and articles by Druzba worth reading.
PS…I figured out what the hell that graphic is!

The garish neon puke green background, the arbitrary mixing of tenses, the lack of punctuation, missing in-between words, and a generally disjointed stream of thought leave this weblog virtually unreadable.
I like the minimalist look to the page though. (except for the color of course). The snowflakey flowers down the left side of the page are pretty.
The author seems to live an interesting life. If only the english wasn’t so painful to read, this site could have some potential.

Sweet Jesus, I haven’t read anything as entertaining or funny as i, asshole in a long, long time. I’ve said it before, but I mean it this time. This is exactly what a great weblog should be.
I’ve been digging through mounds of proverbial horseshit the past few months here at The Weblog Review, looking for that one golden nugget, that one shiny piece of metal, the only spark of hope in an otherwise stagnant world. Okay, maybe i’m pushing this a little far. But this is quality, webloggified.
The content is hilarious, achingly so. My attention was immediately caught with his first post about eating coins and security tags. I was hooked in with his story about spoiling his goody two shoes sister’s science project. The way he writes about his year old daughter is great. He states her ability to clean the floors with her “more-efficient-than-my-Oreck knees,” and then continues to tell about the betrayal he feels when delivering her to recieve the routine toddler shots in a later, more somber passage. He writes incredibly eloquently about any topic. More importantly, he brings up good points, and pokes fun at the ironically mundane and annoying facts of life.
The design is fairly basic, but not too boring or overdone. But it doesn’t really matter, because all you should be looking at is the content.
I’d highly recommend i, asshole. Seriously. These things don’t grace one’s presence often.I, Asshole
