Edgy. This weblog is edgy and genuine. The author is a troubled youth in a really bad situation.

Her parents beat her. It makes for good reading.

Reading her weblog made me extremely angry. It made me want to take a baseball bat and do some damage.

Aesthetically the layout is really lean and clean and arty. Low-fi. Messy. Raw. I like it. There could be more room between the lines of text – it seems like that was an artistic decision though. So whatever. I can deal.

The gray background too closely matched the default scrollbar gray. I’m really tired of that gray.

The language isin’t very articulate, but the uninhibited nature of her entries more than make up for it. She thinks, and she is very honest about her thoughts.

This one is a keeper.

fun.

I really found nothing redeeming about this weblog. I clicked and clicked looking for any form of substantive writing and came up empty handed.

Naming the weblog “My Thoughts”, I believe is misleading. There is little (if any) original thought here.

The specifics: I might care about someone who I don’t know’s relationship / philosophical / political / family issues, but I have a REALLY REALLY hard time having my heart-strings plucked reading about someone who I don’t know’s COMPUTER problems.

Aesthetically, the site is cookie-cutter. The links are of sub-par quality.

Overall, the site is very boring. On no level does it engage me. And I’m a big computer geek too.

I think the author would do good to consider his audience and ask “what do people care about? why would someone want to read this?”.

It’s definatly unique. I can tell you that much. I played an exciting game called “Find the Navigation Bar, win some pride” took me a while, but hey I managed. Actually, if you are faced with the same problem as I was when I visited this site (hard time finding the nav menu) it’s right under the top ‘contemporary art’ peice with the green background.

I would also wish people would use the cellpadding feature that comes along with HTMLs table code. Not much to do on this site, not very long posts. I doubt it will keep it’s visitors, there’s nothing to do. I suppose it’s all based on opinion though. I like the layout, and graphics.

All in all, I would give this site a 3.5 because of the design structure and lack of posts. It appears that this site is slightly unfinished.

This is my first review here and I’m glad to say I got a nice site to review.

The Blog is quite interesting and funny at times however there is an alarming long

section on airports in one of her recent posts.

The layout is pretty much like a standard blog and although the colours are very plain

(cream ? and white ) it does look very nice indeed.

It doesn’t appear to be updated daily but when it is updated you can expect a lot of

text and although normally I don’t like long posts , I actually found this very

interesting. There was a section about “Night terrors” which I really enjoyed reading

about as I have had a few of these.

Might not be of interest to everyone but it is worth at least one visit.

As the title suggests, this is a weblog that is actually funny for once. A very entertaining read, I was immediately struck by the first post on the page, about a scene in an episode of Magnum PI (a show i’ve never seen):

“There was a big musical montage for that scene, and I always thought the music they used kicked ass. So today I’m talking to this dude who lives in my building about it and he says, ‘Yeah, that’s ‘The Brazilian’ by Genesis.’ Then later on, he lent me the cd… and I’ll be damned if that ain’t the song. This might seem like small potatoes to you chickenfuckers, but this song has been haunting me for years. It’s like, I can finally rest in peace.”

The page looks something like a Blogger template, but with a few added visuals.

The design is not very eye-catching, but it can be pulled off because the content stands alone. He continues to talk about his experiences with bums, which could be exaggerated, but who cares, it’s still interesting to read. Definitley a divergence from all of the “my life sucks, feel sorry for me” weblogs around today. I’d definitley recommend this site.My So-called penis
