Wow! This site rocks! The author spews forth his opinion on books, operating systems, geek toys, and movies.



The site is deliciously colored. The green and yellow – mmmmm yummy like Jolly Ranchers.



The language is highly articulate. The author really goes the extra mile to make his writings funny and entertaining.



The photo section is full of pictures of the most adorable dog (lab?) you can ever hope to see.



While not intensely personal, this site really nails what it sets out to be: a random dumping ground of disparate thoughts, links, and reviews.

This is not a weblog per se. It’s more of a geeky index to computer products, pirate radio, and civil liberties.



Don’t expect to find too much deep personal thought here, unless deep personal thought for you means thinking about how best to configure your new web server.



But what it DOES, it does very well. The color scheme is pleasant. The layout is very functional. The graphics are sparse and tasteful. And most importantly, the links are top-notch.



If you’re a media geek, this site is for you.

Aesthetically, this site is rather drab. The light(er)-gray-on-a-dark-gray-background really sucks the excitement out of the words.



His use of the English language is sophisticated, and matches the sophistication of the site’s layout.



His photography section is chock full of interesting photographs, and the webcam is enough to keep the hardcore weblog addict coming back for more.



Personality-wise, he tends to do a lot of navel-gazing between watching movies. The site is worth reading for all the movie reviews alone. He’ll probably turn you on to at least one gem.



The site is packed with features. The time he spent building it must have been considerable.



Overall, the site left me feeling like I had just visited an e-commerce site, except instead of reading about B2B solutions, I read about The Simpsons and a few somber feelings.

The site’s look is very distinctive; that’s the first thing that really caught my attention and compelled me to review it. How can you not adore that David Bowie picture? Add to it the placement of the post being in Bowie’s crotch. Simply irresiststible!



Her posts are short, sweet, and more substantaive than many I’ve seen. Unlike many sites which will go unnamed, she doesn’t pander to a small group of friends. Her posts have popular appeal. She also seems to have a fixation with British pop culture.



The rare nugget of pictures that she posts are of supreme quality. She studies filmmaking and obviously has a good eye for the aesthetic. And get this: she updates daily!



The only bone to pick here is that she’s hosted on diaryland.com which, in my opinion, is inherently lame.

This site was fun. The author made no pretentious airs, no trying to be some web supergod. What he did was deliver.



What did he deliver? Generally amusing life commentary plus lots of masterbation humor. That, I imagine, is why this site is recommended for ages 18 and up. ( <18 year olds presumably have no concept of the phenomenon)


Funny pictues litter the site and complement the site’s low-brow, Maxim-esque humor.



The site features guest writers, but the vast majority of the content is from one man.



If you have a penis and a sense of humor you will probably enjoy this site.
