When I reviewed this site, I was sitting in the dark in the middle of the night because I couldn’t sleep. The .wav file that loaded while I was reading through the weblog made me jump. I wasn’t expecting to hear someone whisper to me while I read through Will’s writing. It’s a unique addition to the weblog – that’s for sure.
The first thing I noticed about this site was its overwhelming use of Javascripts. While I realize this isn’t part of the weblog and therefore not part of what I’m supposed to be reviewing, I had to close a pop up window that was in my way of reading anything, and I was often distracted by the moving phrases that rotated back and forth in the status bar. The pictures at the top of the site were both part of the Javascript-ed additions to the site as well.
In recent posts, we learn about Will’s blossoming relationship, as well as find him posting somewhat prophetic and profound entries about the life he has surrounding him and the way society appears in his eyes. The author here has a very eloquent way of putting his perspectives and thoughts into words, giving the readers that visit here a very easy method of stepping into his mind. And that’s a great way to keep readers coming back for more on a consistent basis.
The entire site is very extensive with different sections that touch base on several different things. Most of the links in the sidebar are ones to essays Will has written on a variety of topics. Also in the sidebar, you’ll find links to Will’s digital pictures that are definitely enjoyable.
Overall, this was a site I will visit again. I don’t know if it’s because of the brutal honesty that Will gives his readers or the fact that he’s so well-spoken for being quite young. I recommend dropping by for a visit and experience the words Will shares in his weblog. It’ll be well worth your time.
