Internet Gossip. Does such a thing exist? Seriously everyone growing up remembers the he-said she-said rumors that always went around. Of course, we believed most of them even though we knew it was just gossip. Even today in our everyday lives we face gossip. So why wouldn’t it exist on the internet?
It does. Internet Gossip is a site for everyone with a weblog to read up on the gossip of the e/n scene. Gossip ranges from “Why People Buy Camgirls Stuff†to flat out insults and wars with big sites. The best way to describe IG is to think of a group of Jr. High kids who are very popular and have their noses in everything and have a disorder where they must talk every second of every minute. The posts are great. They are nothing short of entertaining to say the least.
The best part of Internet Gossip, to me, is that it is what the name of the site says it is. Gossip. Some of it is true, some of it is false. Some of it is made up for pure entertainment. But it is all gossip.
The design of the IG is very clean and simple. The back end uses a program called php-nuke to allow for registered users and comments and what not. There isn’t anything flashy about the design which is nice. Another bonus of IG is that even though it is a big site in the e/n world, there aren’t any annoying links-as-ads that I found. My guess is the reason for this is because the authors don’t care about making money off of their site, they just want to post the gossip.
Overall if you are looking for a new site to get hooked on, here is one for you. If you are bored and you have already read all of your news sites and you are sick of playing online games, check this site out. If you have read all of your weblogs and still are craving more, come to IG. You will not be let down.Internet Gossip

Exploring this site was a pleasure. The journal entries are well-thought-out, well-written, insightful and entertaining. I found myself not wanting the entry I was reading to end, then quickly going to the next to read more.
The entries run the gamut from getting her first paycheck from her new job to going to her grandchildren’s Christmas plays to her feelings about her Internet friends … and everything in between.
I like the layout as well. It’s fun as well as functional.
The “about” and other pages are also entertaining and well worth a look.
The intro page says this site is “the online home of an Alaskan whose motto says it best . . . I live in Alaska, I make my own fun.” She’s also managed to make this site fun for visitors.the PurpleMooseGazette

Today must be my lucky day as I have found two very wonderful sites in a row. Blogatelle is so easy to read, it is like your favorite novel. Whenever it got to be a little slow, the next post picked the pace back up.
The author writes about things that go on in her daily life. Most of it has a little edge to it which takes the site out of the generalized posting. The posts are well written and well thought out, which is a good thing. As I said, I felt as if I was reading a novel, or a short story while going through all of the posts.
The design of the site is amazing. And of course it should be considering the author is a graphic designer. But the color scheme used is very unique to the weblog comunity as I don’t think I have seen it used before. There is a nice little “Imago” which changes every time you click on it.
The author has written many other things that have been published online. After I was done reading the weblog, I took the time to go and read some of these. Again, very good work. Exploring more with-in the site I noticed the author likes to take those stupid online tests. As of writing this, she has taken 45 of them! And of course she has links to all of them.
Delving even deeper into the site I found some wonderful artwork that she has done. The design of the outside site is much different than the weblog, but that didn’t distract me. Looking at the work just complemented the writing of the weblog.
If you have not clicked the link above to go and visit the site, then what are you waiting for? This is one of the best sites that I have ever been to. Very few sites are on my favorites anymore, but this one has earned its place. I wouldn’t be surprised to see this site become one of the very well known weblogs that are out there. Again, if you have not clicked on the link, what are you waiting for?Blogatelle

I have to admit the first time I read this site, I wasn’t quiet ready to do the review of it. There were questions I had, that I didn’t know the answers for right away. I also needed to think about what he was actually posting about. I shouldn’t say think, more like absorb what was being said.
What you will find here at leuschke.org is nothing short of a great site. The writting is very well done which is what caused me to think about the entries. Also, there are posts about topics that most people don’t think about (except maybe the author) which really got me thinking. I kept wanting more, so I continued to read until I couldn’t take it any more. Then I got up the next day and read some more.
The design of the site is very clean and tidy. It is a two column layout but features no color change between the two. Instead, just a simple dotted line between the two. However, his site uses no tables, but does validate for both css and html which means he is using css positioning. If you are a 4.0 browser, you will not, unfortunately, be able to see how well the site looks. As much as I like valid html and css, I can’t help but wonder how many people still use the 4.0 browsers. After consideration for why he chose to create a standard page, I am not going to mark anything down for it.
As far as who the author is, he is a Math teacher. A very good math teacher from what I could figure out off of his site. Maybe when I have a problem or two next semester I will go and ask him for help.
Over all the site is very well done. The writing is beautiful and the design is slick. This site will make you think even if you don’t want it to.leuschke.org

I enjoy this webpage. My first impression was how much I was going to crucify the layout in my review but then I started working my way through the entries and by the bottom of the page I was really fond of the page. The links are great and the blogs aren’t boring. Short and to the point. The design and the posts make the page welcoming, yet not overpowering.
It also links to her personal site, which is nicely done, and other webpages that are nicely done too. This site has a nice spot in my favorites list.
